What a contrast in a day.
After a night of ferocious wind and viscious rain, we woke to a lovely early year day and spent much of the day outside.
Lots of work and lots of just being outside for the sake of it.
Now the night closes and the weather comes with it.
The fire has been out all day and we took the chance to get ahead with some proper dry wood.
Now the evening draws and we draw on our wood, I am off to light the wood stove.
